Choosing the wrong size photo frame is one of the most common decor mistakes. A frame that's too small gets lost on a large wall. One that's too big can overwhelm a small space.
Getting the size right is the difference between a wall that feels curated and one that feels cluttered. Here's everything you need to know.

For a single photo on a standard bedroom or living room wall, A3 is usually the sweet spot. It's large enough to be noticed without dominating the space.
If you're hanging it in a hallway or a compact room, A4 works well — especially for portrait-orientation photos.
